Dear Friend,
I often encounter people who say, even though they are working hard it seems like they are spinning their wheels. When it comes to achieving their career goals, it is just not happening.
That's where I come in.
I have developed a specific product that will set you on course to achieve all of your career goals.
But who am I and why should you listen to me?
My "official" title is author, speaker career coach. That means I show you how to achieve career success.
My journey into career coaching began in 1986, when I began studying what makes some people successful in their career while others flounder.
I spent hundreds of hours interviewing successful people from all industries to learn what they had done to achieve their career success. I was surprised to learn that, no matter what the industry, geographical part of the country, race, gender or age, successful people did the same things. It came down to 10 things that all of them consistendly did.
I document those 10 things in my book, Paddle Your Own Boat: 10 Rules that Guarantee Career Success.
Since 1994 I have traveled the country sharing those 10 rules with employees from state and government employees, nonprofit organizations and private industries. In addition to doing workshops, I have given keynote addresses for several organizations, including:
- The Black Action Advisory Committee for SSA.
- Maryland Association for Counseling and Development.
- Howard Community College.
- The Center for Urban Families.
- The 2009 Northeast Strengthening Families Conference.
